Refereeing in sports has always been a topic of intense debate. As a pivotal aspect of every game, it holds the power to shape moments that can either fulfill dreams or shatter them. A single decision can determine the outcome of a match, making precision and fairness absolutely crucial. Yet, human error and misjudged calls can sometimes tip the scales, leading to outcomes that leave players and fans questioning the integrity of the game.
So, did you know that there are dezenes of bad decisons made in every sing game? This fact can effect the experience of the athelts as well as the out come of a match.
Overall mistakes in sports
Eventhough these mistakes are common in all kinds of sports and modalities we decided to focus especially on some of then, due to our extense knowledge about them and their unique caracteristcs. Our chosen ones were Handball, Basketball and Volleyball.
Refereeing Mistakes
After researching about this theme in the sport of Basketall, we came up with results and conclusion that the most common refereeing mistakes made are foul calls, travelling violations, time violations, out-of-bond calls and basket interfence.
Having researched all about the mistakes made by human refeeres in Handball, we concluded that the ones that are more usually made are foul calls, out-of-bond calls, time violations and goalkeeper fouls.
Once we researched everything about the human referees in Volleyball, we understood that the more common mistakes made are line calls, ball handing, net touches and positional errors.
How can we solve the mistakes made by human referees in sports?
This problem has been discussed by many different people who have tried to came up with a solution to this problem, but haven’t yet managed to succed in this task. And that is the moment when we appear! Our creating and inovating team has been able to develop a whole new idea in this area of sports, that will change and modernize the sports played on a daily basis.
